So far, the quality of the Hoselink products seems above average, and I’ve been generally impressed. However, I did run into an issue after purchasing a 20 metre hose reel for my dad. Unfortunately, he’s found the fittings difficult to swap out, which has made it challenging for him to use. In the end, I had to buy him a Holman hose reel from Bunnings, as he’s more comfortable with the standard click fittings. I’ve decided to keep the Hoselink reel myself, so now we have two at home. I also wanted to mention my disappointment in discovering that the hose reel was not made in Australia as stated on the box. I was under the impression that it was made in Australia, possibly from something I’d read. Also a friend of mine mentioned that when he purchased his, the post-delivery survey included an option stating “Because it was Australian made” as a reason for buying. That added to my belief that I was supporting a locally made product.
