I always considered Hotter to be a great company. Little by little, the styles they were featuring began not to seem personally suitable... that is, all EXCEPT their Shake Shoes, of which I have purchased (over many years) quite a few--some even for my elderly mother. Recently, I ordered 2 Shake Shoes in 2 different colors. Because of an area on my left foot, I decided to order MY SIZE in Wide instead of Standard. When they both arrived, I noticed that they were much longer than the Shake pair of Shoes (in the same style) that I had been wearing and trying to replace.
I decided to wear one of the pairs in order to see if thicker socks or some other change would make them fit, but it didn't work. Then, when I contacted the company, I was informed that I could return just the pair that was never worn. It was at that time that I spent 2 days attempting to gain online access to a Return Label. I entered the information given to me by a Hotter staff member, and saw a message that there was "no record" of my order! Then, I looked again at the Return Form that came with the shoes and copied a website address that turned out not to exist!
All this time I thought I was the only one having these problems... Today, I found out that that is not true! The latest comment I read in an e-mail sent to me says that by ordering the Wide (instead of the Standard Width), the LENGTH of the SHOES had to increase! I'm trying to "wrap" my brain around that concept, and I am puzzled! Hopefully, I will receive an online Return Label from them soon so that I can send back the one $75 pair of shoes!
