Have bought and worn Hotter shoes for years until this experience. I bought a pair of boots in the sale last year, wore them once and then put them away. Wore them this year to an important meeting where to my embarrassment and horror they started to shred the sole on the carpet. Immediately contacted customer services, to be frank they were not interested because I did not have the receipt, Sent back for 'inspection' where after a month I followed up my complaint. I was told I could have £20 credit or gift card! Even in a sale you can't purchase a replacement. I will never buy again fro them or recommend to others. I wait with baited breath to see if my other six pairs do the same, I wish I had made a sizable charity donation than give any monies to Hotter. Saddened and disappointing.
