Purchased the Viviene heels in black on 5th November 2019. The shoes have caused the area of skin in the midline, just in line with the top of the shoe to bleed on both feet after wearing the shoes for 1 hour (of which 30-35 minutes was sat in a car driving). My feet and this area is absolute agony. I have never experienced this before from a pair of shoes.
As the shoes are completely unwearable and cost £79 I have asked for a full refund. I have contacted Hotter customer services via email and was told I could only return the shoes if they were unworn. How can customers know if there is an issue or fault with the shoe before wearing them? This is a prohibitive refund policy that does not respect or consider the customer.
I then phoned customer services who stated that I could return the shoes for inspection within 30 days of purchase if I felt they were faulty, BUT if the company deemed them to be OK, I would not get a refund.
Please see the attached images - how can these shoes be OK?
Bad customer service, bad returns policy. Will never use again
