We purchased a brand new Lap top for Christmas for my daughter. It was the lap top she wanted but very pricey. Her mother and I decided to extended ourselves and buy our kids something they really wanted...because I was unemployed for almost 2 years and they cut my wife's hours. We struggled for awhile, but our kids never asked for anything because they were aware of our situation at age 9 and 13. We were glad to see the look on their faces on Christmas morning. Fast forward 8 months later the laptop died and it was because of a defective hard drive confirmed by HP and Geek Squad. HP asked us to send it in...we did. Two weeks later we received it and and 4 weeks later it had the same problem. They fixed it while under warranty. Now they won't even communicate with us or respond to emails because it's out of warranty. They didn't do a good job at all. Now my daughter has a very expensive laptop that doesn't work. HP in my experience has the worse customer support along with product quality. Also when customer support is bag...it tell you something about the product and company.
