If I could pick less than 1 star I would. I had been trying to purchase a product online for a few days and kept getting an error. I called customer service only to find out that I was in collections for an item I evidently purchased in 2003, 22 years ago. This is no where on my credit report, my credit rating is currently 826. I had declared bankruptcy back then and this was one on of the things that was charged off. The supervisor told me to get this off I woujld have to send the bankrupct paperwork. I told her I did not want to dredge up thins that happaned that long ago. It is not my fault you did not get this information and I will be reporting you to the bankruptcy court and you will be sanctioned. To have someone in collections for over 20 years is also illegal. There is a statute for keeping someone in collections and it is much less than 2o years. it is 4. You are being reported to the FCEUA and the UTPCPL, and the FDCPA.
