I would like you to know that I have had horrible customer service today with Deliveroo. I ordered a smoothie and the very second I ordered it, I tried to cancel it. I was put through 30 min of an online chat with a customer service agent, Hannah, who refused to cancel the order because she said the smoothie was "already being prepared". I told her it as impossible since 2 seconds had passed since I placed the order. She told me there was nothing she could do and I should try to contact the driver when he left the restaurant. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she refused twice, and then I asked to make an "official complaint" and she ignored me, I asked again, she ignored me, and once again I asked and was ignored. She finally let me speak to a Supervisor who was even worse and “ended the chat” before I could respond. I have heard horror stories from friends about Deliveroo. No business should be around that treats their customers so poorly.
