just placed my first deliveroo order and it was auto cancelled after a considerable wait because they had no rider. i work in the trade and my company uses deliveroo also. same story EVERY time, restaurant cooks food, food sits on hot pass, no rider available, order cancelled.
result is hungry angry customer and deliveroo out of pocket refunding the food that got wasted.
This is possibly the worst company i have ever come across, taking on more business than they can handle therefore providing a terrible service(well actually no service). i think they must have taken there business model from vodafone!
avoid disappointment and use a place that has their own delivery service and without lazy riders( oh yeah if you live a mile away from the restaurant they don't want to go that 'far')
