worst delivery ive experienced.
so this evening i placed an order through deliveroo for me and my nans dinner, it was two hour wait for it but we thought with covid going on they are probably really busy so we were happy to wait.
we wait the two hours and the website says its been delivered. delivery was no where to be seen.
i go onto the live chat to find out what happened and they just apologise and say my refund will be reviewed in 24-48 hours and when i replied that i didn't want a refund i wanted our food they just sent the same message again.
I then called customer service and explained how annoyed i was and they just sat slience on the end of the phone so i hung up and tried again.
This time i explained how annoyed i was again and they apologised and said that their colleague had put my refund up for a review which i explained wasnt good enough as i had waited two hours for mine and my nans dinner for it not to turn up and now they were telling me that i wasn't going to get my food and would have to wait even longer while i get something else. They just kept saying the same thing again.
it was only when i said that i wouldnt be using deliveroo again that they actually processed my refund! It didnt really help as i still had to get me and my nan some dinner but at least we got our money back.
I wont be using deliveroo again.
