I recently received my delivery of a dining set and I cannot express enough how disappointed I am in the quality of the furniture and the total lack of customer service from the owners of this company.
I contacted the company within 24 hours of the delivery and expressed concerns that the table did not close properly when the extension leaf was in place. You could see right down to the floor from the gap where the table came together. I sent photos showing the gap and placed over 4 sheets of paper to show how open the gap was. It appeared that the leaf had been sanded or repaired and I was told that it was normal to have some imperfections because the product is made by hand.
Adam Light (Owner) told me that they do not make money off returns and I have would to pay the delivery fee as well as the return delivery fee. I have never seen a company make it so difficult to return a defective piece of furniture and charge to do so. Adam initially told me that the delivery fee was $500.00 but when I called the company that delivered, they told me the actual cost was $290.00, not sure if Adam was just trying to pad the numbers a little and refund less money. Adam also felt it necessary to tell me the following.... "I will need to disagree with your concerns regarding the quality of the table."
The level of service from this company is extremely poor, they have no regard for the customer's concerns and are not willing to help when issues arise. If you are considering buying furniture I would tell you buyer beware. Please be aware of this company's return policy before making a purchase.
