The inserts came in a very well designed protective package. My inserts were large, and with size came a more challenging installation. I am glad I purchased ahead a pair of cheap glass suction cups; I am not sure the install would have gone well without it.
Once installed, you hardly see it is there (which is good!). We purchased the inserts mostly for noise reduction, and it appears to be doing a fine job.
Would recommend, especially in the case of an older home without insulated glass panels or somewhat crooked frames.
