I bought these windows to stop hearing my neighbors dogs' constant barking. Unfortunately we can still hear the barking, but not as loud. The upside to these inserts is.... they do an awesome job of cutting out drafts. We have an old leaky house. These inserts made the drafts from the windows non existence. I do love the inserts. Especially for the winter time.
