Though the walls in our new construction have been thoroughly soundproofed, we found there was still an uncomfortable sound leak in the windows on the side of the house facing the nearby Interstate and industrial plants. Already disturbing sound issues had recently become even worse with an increase in traffic congestion due to new road and bridge reconstruction and the redirection of a railway, causing a significant disturbance in our ability to sleep. Some research for solutions led us to settle on 3 companies to inquire with about available solutions. Indow was the first to respond to my initial inquiry, and they responded with the most helpful detail. The sales rep was very informative and was a pleasure to talk with and there was no high pressure sales tactics employed (a BIG plus). Prices from all 3 companies were pretty similar, but we chose Indow over the others mainly because of the positive experience with the sales rep, and from our understanding of the product. In less than 2 weeks from our first conversation with our rep, we had our new window inserts. They were super simple to install, the fit was PERFECT, and their effectiveness in reducing the noise has been OUTSTANDING! On days/nights when environmental conditions cause an unbearable increase in sound pollution, we do still hear sound of sorts, but all the obnoxious sounds are sort of blended together and sound heavily muffled and very far away, so that what little sound makes it through is no longer disturbing at all. I have an uncomfortable sensitivity to sound when trying to sleep at night, and since we’ve had these inserts, I’ve slept like a baby with some of the best sleep I’ve had since we’ve moved into our new house. An added bonus to the positive purchasing experience and product effectiveness is that you can’t even tell that they are there!!! I would heartily recommend this company and their products to anyone in need of any sort of window modifications. I’m confident that all their products are honestly represented, their attention to detail is impeccable, and their customer service is outstanding!
