My wife and I purchased Indows for our 125 year house that faces a busy street. We were primarily interested in reducing the amount of noise in our living and sleeping rooms. We installed Indows on some windows that were original single pane and others that newer double pane replacements just to block as much as noise as possible. Indows are not just for single pane or historic windows, they can add another layer of sound and temperature insulation on newer windows. The drastic difference in street and vehicle noise was very impressive, even the Indows' rep seemed surprised. The investment was truly well worth the price to make our home an enjoyable and comfortable place to live. We purchased our Indows 5-6 years ago which look and function the same as the first day they were installed with no degradation of the surrounding seal or window area.
