I like them when they are installed—traffic noise is muted and the room is so much quieter. It is also less drafty in the winter. However, the windows are large, and the inserts are quite heavy. There are window boxes outside planted with flowers, and removing the inserts to water ever few days proved to be too difficult. So now they are seasonal, winter only inserts, until I figure out a way to water the window boxes another way.
