Honestly, I did not feel supported by the ITA community here in Barcelona when I arrived. The person who works here with ITA was just concerned about taking my money in order to pay for my Spanish school so that I could get the visa. I pretty much had to figure out everything on my own once I got here. Now working at a school with children (5-7) and teenagers here in Barcelona I do not feel like my Tefl certification prepared me at all for this job. Learning about classroom management and working with children would have been very helpful.
