I completed my TEFL course in 2018. So I'm a little foggy on the details, four years later. Let me just say that as a non-fan of online courses, I was pleasantly surprised with ITA. First off, because I was a recent US Peace Corps volunteer, they gave me a generous discount on the course price, for which I was deeply grateful. I found the course content to be well designed and fundamentally solid in its organization and implementation. As a former classroom teacher, I recognized a huge attempt on the part of ITA to incorporate methods well grounded in educational research. For me, teaching to a foreign audience was not new, but still I learned so many novel approaches to assist learners of a second language in their comprehension of English, which many students describe as a very intimidating language. Overall, it was a very positive experience. My instructor was always available and very approachable. I have since taught in two Latin American countries, and was offered a teaching position in a middle eastern country, which I declined. I highly recommend ITA as a top quality program.
