You smashed my package which was bad enough, but having taken out "enhanced" transit cover as a precaution, I fail to understand why you will not compensate me for the damage that was caused whilst it was in your care. The Consumer Rights Act says clearly that you must use "reasonable care and skill" ... unbelievably you say that you did and that it's my fault because not enough cardboard was used.
The rack flightcase that you smashed is of the type routinely used by field technicians to protect kit over prolonged periods ... the truth is that may package was dropped from a height, the only way such damage could have been caused ....
"Reasonable care and skill" is what the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says, no mention of cardboard.
P.S. how many parcels do you accept into your system that aren't entombed in multiple layers of cardboard?? The"enhanced" cover is just a scam for you to charge more for your extremely shoddy service ..
