Original parcel label did not have my full (work) address on. Nor my name. So delivery failed. I received no notification of this. I had to ask sender for tracking details. The UK Mail online tracking system was not clear - it stated parcel was at delivery location *and* that recipient had rearranged delivery, when neither was true.
I called UK Mail (on hold for 15 minutes) and re-arranged delivery, and gave my full address. But following day they failed to deliver the parcel to me, and instead delivered to my work post room. Again, full address was absence - I think UK Mail's system cannot cope with non-standard addresses, so extra details are put on label as 'Special instructions' which delivery drivers then ignore / don't understand. My name was also absence from the redelivery (despite me confirming everything on the phone the day before). They had managed to put my phone number on though, which is how my work post room tracked me down.
