I had a serious slow operating problem with my I-pad 3 and after online diagnosis by Apple Technical (really good prompt service) was informed the battery was caput and my options were really to buy a new one. When I enquired at Peter Jones, Apple display, an assistant there recommended iSmash in Kings Road who may be able to replace the battery. Went there and was ably dealt with by James and NIcholas, and after really good advice and service have today collected my restored repaired I-pas which is back up to warp speed. Really good professional service.
