Placed an order on 2-7-22, around 12:00pm eastern time. Called back and canceled the order a little later the same afternoon because it was no longer needed. The customer service representative told me that she was canceling the order. I received an email right after that call thanking me for my order and with an expected shipping date and sure enough my credit card had already been charged.
I made two more calls to customer service to no avail.
They(JC Penny) has my money and I have no item yet. It's been 7 days to date. I have not received the item so I can return it.
I have shopped at JC Penny for more than 45 years,
but I will not shop JC Penny.com again. There are many other options
Once I receive the item I will return it and expect my refund back into my account as quickly as it was taken out.
