“I ordered a dining room table and chairs on line through
J.C. Penney. Two MONTHS plus one week later and eight customer service calls later, I found out the truth about the long long delay. They said the manufacturer NEVER received my order. They never informed me until I pestered them. All customer service staff are located in Guatamala and some of them are hard to understand. I am not able to tell you all the lies and the run around I was given by customer service because it would take to long. I finally get an email telling me my order was now cancelled and that I could re-order if I wanted. No explanation given.”
“Do not order online, unless you read ALL of the small print first! I found out I have to redeem my rewards FIRST in order to get the coupon % off.So, in other words, to buy 2 items at $25, which equals $50, which is the amount needed to qualify for the coupon, I can't use my % off because if I also want to use my reward, that brings it down to $40 which disqualifies my % off!? I don't have time for all this BS.You either want business or you don't. Kohls has no problem with a % off plus using Kohls cash

“We ordered a new set of sheets, when they arrived they were stained ( looked like grease) inside a clean package. When I reached out via the web site I was greeted by a clueless AI and then directed to call the support team where the I could barely understand the gentleman I spoke to, who informed me they did not have a "replacement policy" I would have to return the unused item, wait 4 weeks for a refund and re-order. Or I could clean them my self, but once they have been unfolded I can not return them. I can not take them to a store ( closest one is an hour away) because they would not be able to exchange them for me. Absolutely horrible customer service.”

“Do NOT PURCHASE jewelry with JCPenny. The gold is a plating over silver. The warranty will not cover having it dipped more than once . The WARRANTY is supposed to be a LIFETIME WARRANTY, and my LIFE is not over, but my policy is. I was offered a credit, but they doubled the price of the same ring meaning that I would need to put more money with my purchase to get THE SAME RING! No Way!. If this piece is trash, why would I spend MORE to get the same piece and still not be able to have it repaired?”

“Awful customer service. Bougth a watch on Jan 27 and it was supposed to arrive at the store on Feb 6 at the latest. I called at the g=beginning of this week and I was told that the watch should arrive at the store on Thursday Feb 05. Never did. Today I called and another representative told me that the watch was returned to the warehouse for whatever reason and I never received any information. They have the same watch at the store. I cancelled the order and this will be the last time I will order online from JCPENNY.”

“I paid the TOTAL balance of my credit card in November, not statement balance, TOTAL balance. Then received a bill for over $100 for interest. When I called about it, I was told the interest is not included. Im still receiving bills for more interest. Which i will never give JCP another penny. This is a scam for money as far as im concerned.”
