I entered the mid rivers JC Penny store at 11am to return a jewelry item. There was one store employee at the jewelry counter waiting on a customer. The associate called a manager over to help with the transaction and after completing her assisting the manager walked away without any acknowledgement of me standing there for the past 15 minutes. After completing her assistance of the other customer the associate came to me to attempt to assist until 2 other customers walked up to which the associate walked away from me and called for assistance to help the other customers. When I questioned why she called for assistance for them and not for me she claimed her reason was because she was "waiting on a customer and couldn't stop to call anyone" yet she interrupted her assisting ME to call someone. It took me 23 minutes to return an item, which to me was OUTRAGEOUS!! The manager was INCOMPETENT and apparently does not know what 'customer service' is by allowing a customer to wait for as long as I did. I will NEVER shop at JC Penny nor will I EVER order online from a JC Penny store again!
