What ever happened to friendly sales people? I hardly shop at JC Penny but I do buy my sneakers there. The last pair I bought hurt my feet. So I brought them back. I was told since I had worn them I couldn't return them. How could I tell if the sneakers were going to hurt my feet if I didn't use them. They were clean and not worn when I returned them. Apparently even if you use them once you've got no recourse. These were expensive sneakers and should not have hurt like they did. I understand breaking things in I just think they were defective in the making. Anyway, when I bought the sneakers the lady that waited on me was rude and having a bad day. That I just shrugged off. But when I went to return the sneakers the cashier and supervisor could have been a lot nicer than they were. I called the 800 number and asked about returning the sneakers because I was so ticked off about the way it was handled. The person on the line said if it was an online order he could me but because it was on store he couldn't. Was I mad at him? Nope... why? Because eventhough he couldn't help me. He was nice!
