The ear hook on Beats3 Bluetooth headsets is notorious for breaking. Four choices -- fix it yourself which means prying the earpiece apart and, if it is on left earpiece, taking the board apart and putting it back after buying a new ear hook; not fixing the ear hook and just using the set without (usually falls out of your ear); tossing the headset and buying a new one; or having a professional fix it. Easy choice for me and joe'sGE was a great professional team with free mailing back and forth. Timing was essential with me but the turn time was quick and the repair -- so far -- has been flawless.
