I had ordered a replacement Powerbeats3 wire and a refurbished urbeats earphones.
Firstly, the replacement wire came with no instructions and when I asked if they had a YouTube video -like the ones they filmed for most of their other replacement products- they stated that they didn’t have one for the main wire. I found to be very inconvenient and I ended up having to take the earphones to an electronics store to change it for me and that cost me another $30 on top of the $40 wire, defeating the poInt of purchasing a DIY part.
Second of all, the refurbished urbeats I received had non-functioning volume control buttons. It seems like this issue should have been caught before sending out the earphones to the customer. After speaking to customer service, they said there was nothing they could do because the earphones need to be sent back from the same address they were shipped to. I do not live at this address so this is not possible currently- but it seems like they could have been more flexible in order to fix their mistake. They weren’t.
I wanted to like Joes GE service- because conceptually its a great idea. But next time I’ll be sure to buy my products in house. Joes did nothing to remedy either of my issues.
