I have ordered 2 cakes, when realized it would take more than an hour, I decided to cancel the order, this was not even ten minutes after placing it, I navigate through my order select not happy and the only quick option I have seems to be the chat, write down my problem to the chat bot and it directs me to an operative after waiting through a few hundreds people, which again makes me explain the whole thing.
He then says that my query needs to be handled by a different team, I am already losing my patience, I have already told the bot I wanted to cancel why sending me to someone who can't.
Then I wait through 700something more people, another representative comes up, makes me explain the whole thing again, she keeps saying sorry your order is late, I keep explaining that's not the case, I want to cancel, she doesn't seem to get it, for some reason they cannot read previous conversation even though they take the time to do so and to my surprise (not really) it is still the wrong team, they need to pass me to another team to cancel my order.
I am really losing it here I tell the lady look you are doing exactly what the other guy did, you are supposed to be the cancellation team, anyway the 3rd genius comes up and he, firstly, in a very patronising way explains step by step what I should do to cancel my order, which is exactly what I did and how I ended up on the chat, meanwhile I told them not bother because we had been an hour on the chat by then and the order was on the way, but they were still investigating, the genius team never rests, meanwhile the order arrives, we eat it, they are still there, nearly 2 hours in, and the guy finally just goes well I have limited options from my side, I can't do anything as the order as arrived.
So obviously not happy to have wasted 2 hours of my life after these people, a few days after I call complaining about having received bad customer service, I explain again, they send an email saying they take these things very seriously, they are investigating, I will hear in a couple of days, no one bothers, after 20 days I write another email, after a month another.
I got tired now and written again explaining what happened and requesting my account cancellation, no one has cared really no one has tried to actually make things right, but they have acknowledged my request and maybe they will close my account within a month, or not. Who knows with these people
