After ordering my food and receiving a notification that the driver was at the restaurant "it wont be long now" I waited a further hour for the food to arrive. On opening the food it was as to be expected stone cold soggy fries cold burgers and even the milkshake melted. I reported this via the app and there ensued my first experience with the abysmal customer service offered by Just Eat. Despite my order costing almost £20.00 they were happy to refund me £5.00 credit to my Account as per their Internal Cold Food policy which was about as mych use to me as a chocolate tea cup the family still needed to be fed and the food delivered suffice to say went straight in the bin and I ordered something else which was delivered on time and still very warm. Not through Just Eat I might add. Not happy still with the offered solution I asked for Just Eat to confirm the time the driver collected the food, the time it was marked as delivered and if they could explain as to why the food wasnt delivered in a warm bag but just in the packaging it left the restaurant. Four emails later to four seperate operaters I still never got any answers to my, what I thought were reasonable questions, just the same stock email from all of them Blah Blah this is is line with our inhouse cold food policy !!! WHat a Joke . . suffice to say Just eat account subsequently cancelled and happy to report now using Deliveroo that as yet have been faultless. Shame on you Just Eat !!!
