Ordered my shopping from Asda. Which I have done on numerous occasions and never had any problems getting a credit or refund for missing items. Today however my order was missing two items I submitted the refund request only to receive a generic email stating the following:
Thank you for contacting us about your recent order ********. We're sorry to hear you didn't have the great experience we wanted for you.
We've looked into everything in detail to see what we can do. On this occasion, we're unable to offer a refund or compensation based on all the information we have.
We appreciate your understanding and we hope to have the chance to provide a better experience for you next time.
Thanks again for getting in touch with us.
What information do they have, I didn't receive two items, whats so difficult. I replied to enquire why they won't refund me and I received very much the same response.
If Just Eat are doing this to customers how much are they making!!! I realise the issue is Asdas fault for not picking and packing the missing items but Just Eat should refund its customers then seek to claim back from Asda.
In the current climate with the cost of living crisis every penny counts and you are ripping already struggling customers off causing financial hardship. I now have to buy missing items again. SHAME ON YOU JUST EAT!!!!
