I ordered a take away from Just eat from New Dewaniam takeaway which did not arrive. New Dewaniam called me to tell me my order would not be delivered due to them being short on drivers and the fact that I was in the congestion zone. The restaurant told me to wait a few days for my money to be refunded, which I did.
When the money was not refunded I contacted Just Eat who told me there was nothing they could do as it was over 48 hours from my order. I was then told New Dewaniam needed to be contacted to tell just eat to release the funds so they can be given back to me. I did so, New Dewaniam has apparently already given the permission for the money to be given back to me, so I called just eat again to have the same response and the restaurant again to again get the same response.
Neither just eat nor New Dewaniam is taking responsibility and are blaming each other without doing anything to resolve the problem.
Just eat has just lost a regular customer, and I will never be going to New Dewaniam again.
Just eat and New Dewaniam if you are reading this: I want a refund.
