DO NOT USE
Absolutely terrible service - I ordered a takeaway 16/05 and it never arrived, NO answer from the restaurant as I frantically dialed for the next hour after the delivery time, so contacted the just eat chat service after waiting for a queue for nearly 2 hours - A message flashed up about high call volume, and then I didn't move position again that night - so I had to start cooking tea for 3 really unhappy teenagers who I had promised the first treat in lockdown. I contacted just eat chat service the next day, they weren't willing to help and told me to contact the restaurant myself when I told them I had already done this and there was no answer, they tried telling me tough.
I asked for a manager and as shocked when an agent said they don't want to speak to me - (WFT) I refused to take this as an answer and pushed to speak with a manager - they left me waiting for nearly 1.5hrs before a manager came on chat and said I needed to contact the restaurant - I explained the situation again and after some strong wording, they advised they would call them at 5 pm that day and call me back.
surprise surprise no callback - I have been on chat since then numerous times with promises of callbacks - I have been on Twitter, Facebook, linked-in, and Instagram to get a callback- THEY IGNORE ALL. I have been promised lots of callbacks from managers and they have never happened. As a last resort, I have opened a complaint with a company called RESOLVER, and if you are in the same position as me, I would recommend they have written to me offering my own back (wow) and £5 compensation - for real. I'm so frustrated it's unreal.
