Something will go wrong now and again, of course. But the real test of a company is how it responds when it does. In my case: dreadfully.
I ended up with food not arriving even 90 minutes after the delivery time, and being six times (!) promised that the driver had been checked with and the driver was only a few minutes away. It's hard to believe those "checks" were real, as the driver never appeared in the promised time. Just Eat's customer service team also didn't see the problem with telling me the driver was 2 minutes away and then, 15 minutes later, saying the driver was 10 minutes away without any explanation at all for what was going on.
Just Eat also tried to insist that I pay for the order (which was why I had to persist for so long with asking where the food was), and repeatedly told me that I should rate the restaurant poorly if I was unhappy, even though the problem was with the Just Eat and the (fictitious?) drivers, not the restaurant.
