I bought a pair of statement earrings in April and have worn them twice for a very limited time period. After the second time of wearing the back broke off. The earrings cost £23 and therefore their cost per wear is quite excessive.
I was advised by the Karen Millen Customer Service Team that there was nothing they could do as I had fallen outside of the 6 month period. I completely understand there needs to be a cut off period for refunds, but I would have thought that they would have at easr least been interested in the fault to build into product improvement. The earring is clearly too heavy for the back closure and hence there is a design fault.
Historically I have been a real fan of the brand and I have always been delighted by the quality and design and have previously felt I was getting value for money. Sadly on this occasion I feel the brand has let itself down and in doing so has lost a fan!
