We purchased two 8L bottles plus scobies after doing online research about how to grow your own scoby but were finding it hard to source any organic kombucha as a starter. The kits were great, and we were soon enjoying our own kombucha, and as it is so expensive to buy it was not long before the cost of the kits repaid itself. We now have grown a number of 'daughter' scobies and have our own little kombucha factory going so that we never run out. We have also been experimenting with different teas, sugars, and flavourings, and secondary fermentation with fruit juices, etc. We would never have been able to do this without Karl's starter kits and advice, and we are very grateful for this. My partner has been able to give up fruit juice as a result, something he thought he would never be able to do, and we love having all the health benefits of kombucha. We also appreciate Karl's openess to providing assistance and advice. Highly recommended!
