I'd give a negative 5 for the worst ever customer service, worst company to have to deal with beside Home Depot who sells their product. Had a refrigerator dropped in my garage not installed but dropped for a 2nd scheduling was needed for install. 1st available was 4 days later. On July 16 2024 when product was installed there was a bent piece to the back of it. The installers took pics to send in to their company an I did as well. So there starts the run around, toss back an forth, Home Depot to LG. LG Reps are awful. Definitely a language barrier, they put you on hold indefinite times up to an over 20 mins calling themselves documenting, I believe in hopes you hang up. What could be documented when there's no assistance. I'm told by LG day of install they have part, should they send to me, for me to do myself, are you kidding me!! No i ask for tech, oh ok yea someone call you in a couple days to set up. Several days pass, oh now repeat situation, meanwhile I've sent them pics, receipts, Landen doc an damage. Oh now we are escalating and someone will call. Hours on the phone at this point. 22nd July, I get a offer $200 to make right the damage. Really, that's the best a Big Corp has is to toss a bone to a consumer an we are expected to jump? Back your products, back your hype of what you do to the products you put out there. Talk to Supervisor again after days of being on hold and dissmised. Sipervisor Havin says, oh the money is for the inconvenience it doesn't nulll and void their warranty which get this, covers he said interior. Interior!! So you replace my plastic shelves! Really, so gracious. He stated they do not repair their product if damaged on outside.They send me a drafted letter via email to sign relinquishing them from A-Z. Sign it notarize etc. Meanwhile again statng LG has nothing no longer to do with product. Nope , a totalbuy out, hush hush, instead of them backing their product. Biggest mistake for purchase, worse decision I've made LG . Shameful that companies out there are so lacking in professionalism an backing their products when defective. Never ever will I purchase an LG product. I've shared this experience with many so my mistake isn't repeated!
