Worst Customer Service
Customer service is the absolute worst. . .Will never buy another LG product. . .and as you can see there are so many that feel the same and are unhappy with the support they have received. When my stove was still under warranty. . .my stove knobs bubbled, cracked and peeled. Had a chat with the 1st and only LG Agent, who was absolutely wonderful. She told me the knobs were defective, it was an on-going issue with numerous customer complaints and that the engineers were working on it. . .She sent me new knobs but said they were not the new improved knobs and if it happened again to come back. After a while, the new ones did the same thing, so I went back. I got a different agent every time I was contacted. . . with one Agent being very rude. Told me my stove was out of warranty, sent me a price list and said I’d have to purchase the new knobs myself. When I questioned that, reminding her this was an on-going warranty issue. . .she told me I just wanted something for free. I told her there was nothing free about defective knobs on a $1200.00 Gas Range/Stove. . .plus in the interim, my bottom oven plate rusted out and developed holes. . .which was even worse and quite dangerous. . . I was in contact with so many agents/reps, always getting the same answer, telling me to be patient, that my case was being reviewed and I’d hear soon. . .After a ridiculous amount of time, texts, and e-mails, all I got was a text offering a 10% discount on a LG product. I couldn’t believe that was their idea of good customer service, on a $1200 stove. The last thing I wanted, right then, was another LG product. I think they have a special team that keeps giving customers the run around, till they just give up. . . I made one last complaint, directly to the Presidential Liaison Team, but got the same run around. They just said the parts were no longer available so we cannot replace the knobs. Due to the stove being out of warranty, all they could do was offer me a 15% off coupon code on the purchase of any LG appliance . MY response again was, “Really??. . .10% or 15% coupon offers, do nothing for the $1200 stove I already have. . .Both coupons are nothing more than an insult. The knobs on the new stoves look exactly the same. . . so doubted there was any truth to that part. Just more run around. . .which they are really good at. . . again I will NEVER buy or recommend an LG product to anyone ever again. . .In 50 years of marriage, this is the worst appliance and customer service I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and DON’T BUY !!
