May the 27th 2024 we purchased an LG refrigerator to replace our old Kenmore
The new one is on the same spot & same water line as the old one
After A few months the water started to taste chemically I called LG they gave me a nr for their subcontractor here in Miami , they sent a young boy , the first time he had a filter with him , that didn’t work , second time after waiting for 6 hours the same boy with nothing showed up
I called his supervisor complaining about the poor service , explanation : we can’t do anymore for you, you have a braided water line !! After some argument & me informing him our old refrigerator had been hooked to that same line & 0 problem he said “the old one had a better filtration system “!! To call Brandsmart where we purchased it
Called Brandsmart they said the 15 days return window was closed & the warranty ( we purchased a 5 year one ) doesn’t cover !!! So the blame game was on , nobody ask us what kind of water line we had or warn us this might happened yet we are left with a poor made product from LG that doesn’t work 💯 & they don’t care . By the way many other customers have the same issue I saw it online , stay away from this 2 companies
