I spoke to an LG customer support person today, after being passed around to three different people, they wanted $399.00, upfront to have someone come out and look at my refrigerator as the warranty expire 6 months ago. It supposed to have a 5-years on some items and 10-year warranty on the compressor and labor but to find out if you have a compressor that has failed, you need to pay they $400 upfront before they can send anyone out. If you go out and find someone yourself, they will not cover the warranty parts or labor, Unbelievable. They can survive this way for a while, but you can bet it will catch up with them in the end.
