WARNING! Don't buy from www.lightinthebox.com. Here is what happened. In November, 2020, they ran an ad on Facebook advertising all kinds of cycling clothing, shoes and gear. I ordered some clothing on November 16. I paid extra for express air. My package arrived on January 6, 2021. During this overly long process I received little or no attention from light in the box, after making several inquiries.
I also ordered bike shoes. They were sized in EU and no size chart was given. I ordered the largest size they offered and they came too small. When I attempted to return them the instructions I received were insane. No one would consider their behavior to be good customer service. Below is the actual review I wrote them about this order:
I ordered the largest size you offered (42) (there was NO size chart given) and I am not used to EUR sizes. The shoes were too small. I want to return them.
When I received your return/refund instructions they were ridiculous - only an idiot would go through the long and involved process to return them. The first line in your return instructions suggested that I gift or sell the shoes myself. Really!!! Do you think that constitutes good customer service? Where I come from this is BAD customer service. You claim to give good customer service, but you did not give me good service.
On your "Attention and Care" page you make the following claims:
If you want to return the product, please confirm that you’ve received your package, by clicking "Order Received". Then submit a "Return or Exchange" Ticket. After you submit your ticket, our Customer Service will approve your return request according to our policy, warranty, product status, and the proof you provided.
It it obvious to me that you made your return/refund policy so complicated that you were hoping that most people would not bother. Well, in this case you are correct; however I will make it my business to let everyone I can to be aware of how you run your business. It stinks.
By the way, you are now offering the same shoe for less money and with larger sizes than you did in November. That only makes me more angry.
