I had ordered several items using LightInTheBox and paid for expedited shipping. However, as it seems, all orders are coming form China and there is no possibility to get shipping within 2 to 5 days as advertised. After being double charged due to the webpage not responding properly, I got my money back. Not all of it at first and I had to contact them again to transfer the missing funds, which they claimed was because of a system glitch. Then I waited patiently for two months to get my stuff. No luck! So I contacted them again saying that if the goods aren't shipped within the next day I would have to cancel my order. AT my next check on my order-progress it said shipped. The day after that it was returned to the sender claiming that there were missing documents. So I informed LightInTheBox and they assured me it would be taken care of if the goods did not arrive within 10 days. Guess what, they didn't arrive. From there on every additional contact attempt was ignored by LightInTheBox. To my that seems highly fraudulent. There is a reason that they "shipped" it was that one cannot cancel the moment it is shipped and a return has to be issued. I will never order from them again and I would urge (and I am frustrated just mentioning this) go to Amazon or EBay to get stuff. LightInTheBox cannot keep their promises; and I have spent money that I have now to fight for in order to get it back. I informed Visa about probable fraud.
