Beware! Company still taking money from account and refusing to cancel booking
I have used love holidays 3 times to date. Until now I had no issues with them they represented reasonable value. However the way they are behaving in the wake of the present crisis is completely unacceptable. On the 18th March I informed Love holidays of my intention to cancel through their online interface and I received confirmation of my request along with notice of the charges they wished to levy in relation to the cancellation. The payments that Love Holidays had received from me prior to my cancellation request exceeded the cancellation costs mentioned above and I was resigned to having to wait for a refund of monies left. Imagine my surprise when I received an email from the four days later on the 22nd March informing me that Love holidays had helped themselves to a further £450.77 of my money. I eventually managed after several attempts managed to get through to someone using their web chat service (They don't answer the phone) Who before cutting me off advised me that were I to stop subsequent card payments they may levy further charges( No explanation as to what they would be levied for). I then opened a further conversation on web chat and was passed to someone else who was unable to provide any date by which they will confirm my cancellation, nor was he prepared to guarantee that they would desist from taking further payments.
To date I have been unable to get any meaningful response from them in relation to the issues above. They appear to be using my bank account as their own personal credit stream.
This is not an acceptable way to conduct a business.
