am absolutely devestated with what has happened. I have booked a holiday on your website thinking it will be a great time for a great price. I have brought it for my girlfriend as a holiday present and she was also very excited. I have then been informed that YOU at love holidays have let me book this hotel, without telling me that it is overbooked. Which is very very disappointing. Then to make matters worse, you are now trying to send me to another hotel in which is worse than the one I booked, and are not giving me a FULL refund of the £2,200 I have paid for this holiday. I believe that because it is an error on your end and you have let me book this holiday, with the hotel already being booked. I am in my right to receive a full refund for this holiday. If that cannot be facilitated as you have already stated, then why am I being charged £75 cancellation fee. This is outrages. Iwould like tocancel this holiday immediately and I expect this to be reviewed and I get the correct amount of money back. I am also leaving a review on your website for the absolute nightmare and trauma you haveput me through with this holiday that I have booked.

Avoid at all possible costs- I would give a 0 star if possible. Family of 4 turned up to our hotel to find love holidays hadn’t booked the hotel yet had taken the money and the hotel was full. Travelling very late at night with 2 very young children. When we did manage to get this resolved 24 hours later, in that time we had to find and book our hotel room and was refused full refund for the new hotel we had to resource ourselves. Since returning from the holiday almost 4 weeks later I still cannot access the after care query link on the app to dispute this further. Absolutely shocking company with poor customer service and now they are no longer responding to my emails!! I should have checked reviews before booking with them. AVOID at all costs!!!!!

I booked to go to Zanzibar on 22nd Mar 2026, however I am still not sure if I can go!!!. L/H gave very little information about the flights, so I had to chase them. Ethiopian Airlines won't allow my phone number or email address to be input when I try to add my passport details to the flight. Customer service within L/H and Ethiopian Airlines is very poor. I am.concerned I will get to the airport and not be able to try. L/H can't offer a solution. A much needed holiday has turned into a stressful nightmare. I will never book Loveholidays again. Dreadful, uncaring customer service.

Very Poor Service – Left Stranded and Forced to Pay €2,981 I booked a holiday to Gran Canaria with Love Holidays in December and paid for everything in full. Two days before departure they called to say the hotel had been “mistakenly booked” and my accommodation would be changed. I accepted the change and the new booking was confirmed in my account. However, when I arrived at the hotel, I was told the reservation existed but Love Holidays had not paid for it. I was informed that if I wanted to stay, I would have to pay €2,981.64 myself. I immediately contacted customer service and was told the issue would be resolved quickly. I called again after an hour and was told the same thing. No one ever called back and the issue was never resolved. I was left stranded in a foreign country without accommodation or support, and after hours of trying to contact Love Holidays I had no choice but to pay the €2,981.64 myself just to have somewhere to stay. This completely ruined what was supposed to be a special 40th birthday trip. Instead of enjoying my holiday, I spent the time dealing with stress, uncertainty, and financial loss. Even after returning home, I still have not received any response from the company. Very disappointing and unprofessional service. I will never book with Love Holidays again and cannot recommend them to anyone.

Booking reference: LOV12575997U This is such an inconvenience, o was here for short period of time now I have spent a few hours, composing emails and gathering evidence of which can be found because I have moved to one hotel to another. Upon arriving at the hotel at approximately 19:30, my experience was entirely unacceptable. After assuming we where checking in, scanning our passports, and paying the tourist tax, the receptionist simply pointed toward the exit and informed us we were being moved to a different hotel. ‘Turn left and follow the road”, mind you we had our transfer book to this hotel. I am seeking compensation for the following failures in service: • Lack of Prior Notification: I received no communication from Loveholidays or the hotel regarding a relocation. I chose this specific hotel based on extensive research, reviews, and proximity to my planned excursions. • Complete Lack of Assistance: No explanation was provided for the move. Furthermore, we were given no assistance with our luggage and were forced to walk to the secondary hotel on foot. • Substandard Accommodation: The first room we were assigned (Room 809) was not prepared for guests. I did not take pictures as o was tired and stressed, but the moving of rooms will show you they knew it was not ready. We moved again the following day to Room 916. • Disruption of Holiday: During a short-stay trip, I was forced to navigate two different hotels and two different rooms. This significantly impacted my ability to enjoy the holiday I had meticulously planned. As the agent responsible for this booking, I expect Loveholidays to investigate why this relocation occurred without notice and why we were treated with such a lack of professional courtesy. I look forward to your prompt response regarding how you intend to rectify this matter. Up to now they not given me a reason why I was moved. This morning they offered me £44 and £50 voucher that can only be used if I spend £1000. The still haven’t explained to me why I was not informed and why we where moved with no explanation.

Dream solo 60th birthday getaway ended in disaster. Air con unit overflowed, slopped in water, injury to knee. Fought to get taken seriously for personal injury claim. Had to issue Court proceedings at cost. Not to mention building works opposite and could hear next door going to toilet! Avoid Robert Palais Hotrl, Albir at all costs, poor maintenance but staff were reasonably nice! Wouldn’t touch love holidays with barge pole. Ruined my birthday treat. 😡 won’t let me upload photos

Currently stuck in Fuerteventura and facing a night without accommodation after Ryanair changed our flight six months ago and nobody notified us. Love Holidays say it’s an issue with Ryanair, even though the change happened last August. Ryanair say the agent, Love Holidays, is required to notify customers. We received no notification from either Love Holidays or Ryanair and were left facing the prospect of a night on the streets. We are meant to be covered under the EU Package Travel Directive 2015/2302 and the Irish Package Travel Regulations 2019, yet when we raised this with Love Holidays, the chat was ended with “Have a nice day.” We tried calling the special number for customers currently on holiday, but nobody answered. It becomes very expensive trying to sort issues from abroad when the company doesn’t answer the phone within a reasonable amount of time. After waiting 30 minutes on hold on their dedicated line for those overseas, we gave up. With no help from Love Holidays, we had to secure the extra accommodation ourselves. All recent emails from Love Holidays showed our holiday ending on Wednesday, even though our flight wasn’t until Thursday. The online chat agent repeatedly said, “Enjoy the rest of your day,” which felt completely inappropriate given the situation. After spending the last 12 months praising our experience last year and directing many people to this company, it’s extremely disappointing to be left unsupported when something goes wrong. As Love Holidays provided no meaningful assistance, it appears that pursuing the matter through the Small Claims Court may now be our only option.

I am beyond disappointed. I have travelled with many companies over the years and always received professional and supportive service when problems happened. This is the first time I booked with loveholidays, mainly because the price and instalment option seemed convenient. Unfortunately, it will also be the last. For over a month, I have been trying to obtain one simple written confirmation for booking Lov11278551u. Instead of resolving the issue, I am repeatedly being told to contact the hotel or the airline myself. This makes no sense. The booking was made through loveholidays. The payment was made to loveholidays. How is it reasonable to ask a customer to chase suppliers directly? What should have been a simple administrative request has turned into unnecessary stress and exhaustion. When support is needed the most, accountability should not disappear. I cannot recommend booking with loveholidays.

The chat on their website is an AI chatbot even they say you are talking with a human agent. The information flow is not working at all. The departments do not communicate to each other, do not pass the information to each other. They do not know the laws in the UK at all. We had to cancel our city break to Venice because of my knee injury. They said we need to request a Not fit to fly statement from the GP which can prove then my medical issue and then we don’t have to pay the cancellation fee. The GP wrote a message which clearly said GP’s do not give Not fit to fly statements, however because I was taken to the hospital by the ambulance I could provide all the hospital letters and appointments but they said it is not enough. I believe they deliberately wanted this GP statement because they exactly knee that this is not exist. So they can collect the cancellation fee too with the full price of the flight tickets in this case. I so disappointed!!!! We always booked our travels on Love Holiday website. Yearly 2-3 times, so I think we were a good customer of theirs but now they will lose a very good one because of this situation. They are not flexible at all and they did not show empathy. This was a huge mistake from them!!!

I would not recommend love holidays to anyone at all , customer service is constantly different people, saying 1 thing then another saying different they take payments that were not on authorised card and are saying it’s just automatic but I can assure you it is not automatic and can’t comment on why I know this at present as I have this up my sleeve

Dishonest. Avoid. Cancelled our trip to New York 3 different times, each time, making it more expensive. The last straw was cancelling the identical package shortly before the trip (booked last year by the way) and re-offering it for DOUBLE. No explanation whatsoever. No apology. Absolute criminals. Blocked me on Facebook for no reason. Trying to silence their DISGUSTING behaviour. I hope they go bust soon. I wish I'd have read the reviews first. Martin Lewis even says to avoid them!!! They are overdue with my promised refunds. So possibly a small claims court to arrange next week. Thieves. They even resigned from ABTA in 2020 so they didn't have to issue refunds due to covid!

We booked a weekend break to Vienna for October 2025. It was for my mams 85 birthday. But unfortunately my dad passed away the day we were meant to travel. I called love holidays up explained what had happened. They said they could change it to January 2026. We were happy with that. To our dismay we travelled to Leeds Bradford to check in for our flight. On arrival we were told there was no flights until April of this year. We contact love holidays. What a waste of time, the won’t take responsibility for any of this so we have lost all our money. Please please never use love holidays. Y

They hiked the flight prices up straight after we booked our holiday to Penang in Malaysia. Nearly four months after we booked and just 2 days before we travelled they said that they could not provide us with the hotel that we booked and paid a lot of money for. They offered us a second rate hotel an hour by car away from the resort we booked . As it was only 2 days away from departure and one of the days was Christmas we did not have much of an option. We have had to spend 3 hours a day travelling to the resort that we originally booked. We feel that we have been completely ripped off by Love Holidays

Love holidays are a bunch of scammers that will bluff you until you’re blue in the face. Pass the responsibility to the hotels who will tell you to go to the agent you booked with. We had no heat in the room and they told us that heat wasn’t specifically mentioned in the booking. To make a long story short they fobbed us off over 34 emails. Couldn’t admit the problem hadn’t been resolved. We sent them videos and pictures of the whole accommodation and the absolute state it was in but they kept apologising but did nothing. Avoid them. Unless you like being messed around. Worst and least cooperative agent ever. Sided with the hotel instead of taking responsibility. And when we complained to the hotel they didn’t clean the room or change the towels. Sad people. Insincere and untrustworthy. Unprofessional and unapologetic. But I’m not going to go away!!

Awful service they take your money and leave you dangling. Hiked up cost of flights after we booked and then told us 72 hours before departure date that our hotel was no longer available. Absolutely shocking customer service
