Our transfer shuttle just dumped us in the middle of rome miles from our hotel which caused no end of problems. Loveholidays trying to say its nothing to do with them despite the fact that our contract was with them and they are vicarious liable. They clearly care nothing for customer service and care even less about consumer law and contract law. Absolutely shocking company

Dreadful to deal with.Impossible to get hold of customer service. Expect to be left on hold for thirty minutes plus and to wait for at least ten minutes before you get hold of anyone The lack of information pre flight makes me very wary as to what is in store on the holiday when we do arrive.

Dear “Love Holidays Team” Booking Reference: LOV10553525U
 Travel Dates: 13Apr-19Apr
Hotel Name: Evita Blue, Ioannou 55, Xilokastro, Peloponnese, GR, 20400 I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding the all-inclusive package holiday I booked through Love Holidays, which has turned out to be entirely misrepresented and falls significantly short of the advertised standards. Upon arrival, it became immediately apparent that the hotel does not meet the promised 4-star standard. The following issues constitute a serious breach of contract under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018: Misrepresentation of Hotel Standard
The hotel is advertised as a 4-star establishment. In reality, the condition and service fall drastically short. The rooms are extremely small and the shower facilities are inadequate — I can barely fit inside them. Inadequate Staffing and Service
There is only one staff member managing the entire hotel, including reception, bar, kitchen, and housekeeping. This is entirely unacceptable and unsafe, especially for a family with children. Lack of Facilities and Amenities There is no buffet or selection of food as expected from an all-inclusive package. There are no entertainment options or evening activities, which are key elements in such packages. The hotel is empty, with only one other guest present, adding to a sense of isolation and concern for our safety.
The hotel provides no parking facilities despite this being a reasonable expectation for a 4-star hotel. I have been forced to park on the roadside, risking fines or damage to the rental car.
My family, including my wife and three daughters, feel highly uncomfortable, vulnerable, and misled by the accommodation provided. The atmosphere is so unpleasant that it feels more like a punishment than a holiday. I have already attempted to resolve this matter through your online support and chat agents but have received no meaningful assistance. I am therefore formally requesting the following: An immediate change of accommodation to a hotel that truly meets the 4-star standard, with appropriate all-inclusive services and entertainment, OR Full compensation for the misleading and distressing experience, including potential costs incurred for relocating to a suitable hotel ourselves. Should I not receive a satisfactory resolution within 14 days, I will be forced to escalate this complaint to relevant third-party bodies, and consider pursuing legal action for breach of contract and misrepresentation. Please acknowledge receipt of this complaint and respond urgently with a resolution. Yours faithfully, Anil (This is live complaint along with the email to them) Second email: We are writing to express our extreme dissatisfaction with our current all-inclusive holiday booking for six nights, for which we paid £2500. We arrived on 13 April and have already experienced two days of unacceptable conditions. The reality of our experience is far from the all-inclusive package we booked and paid for. We are facing a complete lack of advertised amenities, including the absence of buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner, no entertainment, and limited food options that are consistently subpar (e.g., potato fries, undercooked microwaved chicken, basic salads). Furthermore, basic necessities such as juice, fruits, ice cream for our children, desserts, snacks, and even the ability to make a hot beverage are unavailable. The provided facilities are not functioning as expected. We understand the staff are doing their best under difficult circumstances, but the current situation is significantly impacting our family, including our three daughters. We feel increasingly intimidated, unsafe, and deeply unhappy with the conditions we have encountered. Given the vast discrepancy between what was promised and the current reality, we urgently request an immediate change of accommodation to a hotel that can provide the all-inclusive experience we booked and paid for. Our priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of our family and salvage the remaining days of our holiday to create positive memories for our children. We have attached photographic evidence to further illustrate the unacceptable conditions. We look forward to your prompt action and a resolution that rectifies this distressing situation. Please advise on the next steps for an immediate hotel transfer. (No reply and they don’t pick up the call!!!)

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the ongoing handling of my account by Loveholidays. Despite a previous apology and refund of £42.07 issued on 8 April for an earlier error, the same amount has now been re-deducted from my account without authorisation. This repeated mistake is not only unacceptable but reflects a serious lack of care and control over customer transactions. I have already raised my concerns with your team, and even escalated the matter to Donat, your CEO, and his office — yet no satisfactory resolution has been provided. Instead, I’ve been met with inconsistent information, broken assurances, and delays. For example, I was told during a recorded call with your adviser that the cost for seating and additional luggage would not exceed £50. However, I was later quoted £92.00 without prior notice or agreement. I was then informed of a supposed £50 waiver — which I was never told about beforehand. These post-facto adjustments come across as afterthoughts, not sincere efforts to resolve the issue. This experience has caused considerable stress, financial inconvenience, and wasted time. I am now escalating this matter to the relevant authorities, including ATOL compliance, as it clearly warrants regulatory scrutiny. I will not be using Loveholidays again and will advise others accordingly. Your handling of this situation has fallen far short of the professional standard expected. A more substantial compensation offer is now warranted.

I recently booked a trip to Tunisia through Loveholidays and it turned out to be an absolute nightmare from the moment I arrived. Despite paying in full before leaving the UK, the hotel had no record of my booking. I was left stranded at reception with my family, including a baby, forced to pay a deposit just to get a roof over our heads. The lack of customer service was staggering. I spent three entire days on live chat, being passed around by agents who offered no real help and even suggested splitting my family across different hotels. Only after sending screenshots to prove the hotel had rooms available did they finally do something, but the hotel still didn’t receive confirmation, and I had to pay an additional deposit for a night I had already paid for. To make things worse, I was locked out of my hotel room multiple times, my holiday was completely disrupted, and I experienced significant financial loss and stress, all because of Loveholidays' incompetence. I couldn’t enjoy the first half of my trip at all. After all of that, they had the audacity to close my complaint without even contacting me or explaining why. No apology, no resolution, no accountability. This was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. I will never book with Loveholidays again, and I urge others to stay far away if you value your time, money, or sanity.

My booking reference with Loveholidays. LOV9535452U. I cancelled my booking for person reason. Easyjet airline sent the Airport Tax money returned to Loveholidays but Loveholidays have not returned my money. They kept it. This is very disappointing.

Never use Love holidays. Made an amendment to the booking a week before going, all to be agreed and paid for. Recived the amended travel documents with the added party's name. The day of departure, got to the airport, all was good, got to Hurghada, to find the transfer to the hotel waiting for us. Got to the hotel, went to book inn and no accommodation was booked, they said they were full so couldn't even try to pay for a room, went to the rep in the hotel, who didn't want to know or help, spent 3 hours on the Emergency chat, only to be kicked out with enjoy your holiday. It was at this point we called the emergency number, after 2 hours we had a room booked, but had to pay for this ourselves and claim back. The following day we was informed of a new booking in a different hotel, but only at Room, Breakfast and Dinner, not all inclusive as paid for. It was the day manger of the original hotel that phoned the supplier and got us a room in the original hotel. I then went to claim the room for the night back, only to be told claim from the hotel, after arguing via email, they agreed to pay that back, I also managed to get a measly £50 in compensation. Would never book with Love Holidays again and beg other people not to. They really don't want to help.

READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING Love Holidays is only ever going to be an option if you are sure there will be no flight time changes, which are entirely possible these days. Love Holidays purport to manage your holiday through their correspondence and the app, there is an option to "Manage my Booking" but realistically they don't. We were advised of a time change to our outbound flight which meant we effectively lost the first day of our holiday. We were originally due to arrive at the hotel around lunchtime, the time change meant we would arrive around 10pm instead. These things happen and Ryanair have options in relation to changing the booking. I had identified that there was a suitable alternative flight with Aer Lingus but the only way this could be facilitated with Love Holidays was for me to cancel the outbound flight, wait up to 96 hours at which point Love Holidays would contact me with options on alternative outbound flights. This is nonsense. Nobody in their right mind would have accommodation, a homeward flight but no outbound flight. And even though all the correspondence from Ryanair is with me, any refund is with Love Holidays. They purport to manage the holiday, they don't. They realistically make the booking and reserve the right to any refund thereafter and are unable to facilitate any flight changes should they be required. There is also a discrepancy with their T's & C's and those of the airlines. Ryanair were offering a full refund in light of the flight time change, and had I been in receipt of that refund directly I would have simply made a separate booking for the outbound flight, safe in the knowledge that the refund was coming my way. But Love Holidays weren't honouring the refund and they were planning on retaining the refund with a view to offering alternative flights. But as I say, who is going to wait up to 96 hours to see if those alternative flights are still available. The mistake I made is that I thought Love Holidays could facilitate changes if needs be, subject to extra charges if applicable. But they can't. They really don't "Manage your Booking" at all.

Don’t use!! Read small print! Our 21 year old autistic son booked a package deal & within 10 minutes had to cancelled due to date changes. They wanted a £545.00 cancellation fee from the £1,000 package booking which has no 14 day cooling off period! Loveholiday.com would not help, even after he said he’d re instate same package as would rather still go than loose £545.00. But they didn’t care. Luckily my son had set up a payment plan that his bank has been able to cancel. Don’t use this company.

Review: I am absolutely appalled by my experience with Loveholidays and would strongly advise others to think twice before booking with them. What was meant to be a special anniversary trip turned into a complete nightmare due to multiple relocations, terrible accommodation, and a total lack of support from Loveholidays. I originally booked Hotel Centrum through Loveholidays, expecting a comfortable stay, but upon arrival, it was a complete building site. There was rubble and rubbish everywhere, no proper facilities, and absolutely no air conditioning, making it impossible to stay there. It was nowhere near the standard expected for a holiday, let alone an anniversary trip. Due to the unacceptable conditions, Loveholidays moved me to Hotel Swing, which was marginally better but still not what I had booked or expected. Then, without any proper consultation, they relocated me again—this time to an Ibis hotel in the middle of nowhere, completely isolated with no public transport links. It was a completely unsuitable location, making it incredibly difficult to get around or enjoy the trip. I reached out to Loveholidays repeatedly, but instead of offering real help, they refused to take proper responsibility, telling me to deal with the hotels directly—even though my booking was made through them! They should have ensured I had a suitable place to stay, yet they left me to fend for myself after ruining what was meant to be a special trip. To make matters worse, after all this stress, wasted time, and disruption, Loveholidays offered me a pathetic 25% refund. Given that my trip was effectively ruined, this is an insult. When I pushed for fairer compensation, they dismissed my concerns, stating that this was their “full and final offer” and that I would have to chase the hotel myself—despite them handling the booking and relocations. This experience has completely shattered my trust in Loveholidays. Their lack of accountability, refusal to take responsibility, and appalling customer service made this one of the most stressful travel experiences I have ever had. I will never book with them again and strongly urge others to avoid them. If anything goes wrong, do not expect them to help—you will be left stranded, out of pocket, and completely let down.

I booked an holiday to Salou for September this year , and love holidays booked our flights and transfer for last year, we wouldn't have known as our booking confirmation was for this year, it was when the transfer company were ringing me to ask why we weren't at Barcelona airport we realised something was wrong , I contacted them and they just kept blaming Ryanair, it wasn't Ryanair it was them we booked a package deal and they messed up the flight and transfer bookings, and then they wanted over £600 to rebook flights and transfers

Really bad experience with LH. I found a cheaper deal on destination 2 which matched all the details of the LH and I adhered to their T’s and C’s of the price match. They rejected the price match as they stated I did not provide the flight details which of course I evidently did. Everything matched up and they refused my price match as it was around a £400 difference. I tried to dispute this but they would not look into it any further. I have now contacted UK Trading Standard, Advertising Standards as well as the CEO of LH. It’s a clear mistake on their end and they are not willing to rectify it or even look into it. I would definitely avoid if you find something cheaper elsewhere, Destination2 are generally cheaper than LH.
