“Extremely disappointing service from Loveholidays! As a returning customer visiting JA Palm Tree Court for the third time, I expected much better. I have written confirmation of booking All-Inclusive, yet Loveholidays booked All-Inclusive Limited instead. Despite repeated calls, promises from customer support and an £880 goodwill offer, the issue remained unresolved. We were even embarrassed at the hotel because Loveholidays had failed to complete the promised payment. Instead of relaxing on holiday, I have spent days chasing Loveholidays to correct their mistake. Poor communication, broken promises and a complete lack of professionalism. I paid for a service and expect to receive what was confirmed in writing. I am now considering escalating the matter through American Express and the relevant complaints channels. I will think twice before booking with Loveholidays again. Returning customers deserve far better.”

“Booked a holiday in September to Icmeler in Turkey First the Sunxress flights were changed which we thought we would live with even though it made us loose 1 day of a 7 day holiday. The hotel we booked gave us a room we had not booked. Had to pay £250.00 extra to get a room in the building we were supposed to be in. Complained to Hotel and Loveholidays who just kept bouncing Emails back and forward with Loveholidays taking no responsibility for not suppling us with the room we originally booked with them and shown on the paperwork. Will never use these people again as they are happy to take your money BUT if it goes wrong they are not bothered they take the Hotels side every time to save losing business. Avoid as all costs as you may not get what you book.”

“SCAM SCAM, do not use. I booked a holiday to Portugal, with two twin rooms with sea view and paid extra for the rooms. After waiting 2 days for the confirmation, I was told that the rooms were not available and was offered 2 king bed rooms with garden view for the SAME PRICE. My children are of an age they cannot share. Totally unacceptable”

“My Ella bodrum resort We arrived after midnight, and unfortunately, from the moment we saw the main entrance, we had a feeling that the hotel was not what we had expected. There was only one member of staff at reception, and unfortunately, they did not speak English, which made communication very difficult. The room was disappointing. The floor was covered with old, damaged laminate, and the bathroom door handle broke while we were inside. The hot water was also a major issue, as it was set to only one temperature and was barely warmer than cold. The hotel clearly lacks general maintenance, and the standard of cleanliness was not what we would expect from a hotel of this rating. The food was very basic, with limited choice, little flavour, and disappointing quality and quantity. The location is also not particularly convenient. It is approximately a 25–30 minute walk from Turgutreis Marina and the main shops. We booked this holiday through Loveholidays. After experiencing these issues, we contacted them, explained the situation, and asked whether we could change to a better hotel and pay the difference ourselves. Unfortunately, nothing was done to help us. As a result, we had no choice but to stay at the hotel despite being extremely unhappy and disappointed. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. We are particularly disappointed with Loveholidays because the hotel was advertised and rated as a 5-star property, whereas based on our experience, we feel it did not meet the standard we would expect from a 5-star hotel. We hope both the hotel and Loveholidays take this feedback seriously and address these issues for future guests.”

“Avoid this company wherever possible Shocking customer service and aftercare both whilst on holiday and when returning. Scammed and threatened by there travel rep Gdpr breach with all my personal and holiday details leaked Love holidays washed their hands of it and used ridiculous excuses as to why it's not their problem. Please avoid this company as there are many other choices that actually care about their customers.”

“WARNING: Loveholidays – think twice before booking. Avoid this company Our £2,500 holiday became over £3,150 with excursions. Hotel SU was excellent — the problem was Loveholidays and the representative operating under their branding. Our 73-year-old mother has significant mobility problems, which we clearly explained. We were still sold excursions completely unsuitable for her. When we complained, the representative sent dozens of aggressive WhatsApp messages, repeatedly called us and made a comment about there being “big trouble” if he lost his job. Despite wearing Loveholidays branding, using Loveholidays paperwork and having access to our name, room number, phone number and holiday details, Loveholidays now says he was independent and simply washes its hands of the entire situation. The most disturbing issue is our personal data. How did this person obtain our detailed booking information? Who gave him access to it? Why was Loveholidays branding and paperwork being used? We have raised serious GDPR/data-protection concerns, yet the response has effectively been: nothing to do with us. So apparently your personal holiday information can be passed to people presenting themselves under the Loveholidays brand, but when something goes seriously wrong, Loveholidays can simply say they are independent and refuse to investigate. That response is, in our view, absolutely disgusting. We have retained the messages, call records, paperwork and other evidence. If you book with Loveholidays, ask exactly who has access to your personal data and who is actually responsible when things go wrong.”

“Terrible experience with LoveHolidays. Paid for a return to airport private transfer because the shuttle bus from Barcelona to Lloret Del Mar (a journey of 1 hour 20 mins) took 3 hours on our way to the hotel, the bus driver got lost, there were no toilets and we were told we weren't allowed to drink water. Not a great start to a holiday with kids. So I paid to avoid this stress on the way back to the airport another £70, only for the private transfer not to turn up at all. We had to get a local taxi back to the airport as we would have missed our flights, which cost £147. After a lot of complaing I eventually got my taxi costs refunded, but LoveHolidays still refusing to reimburse my £70 for the private transfer service that did not turn up. Terrible company and customer service, avoid as they are not even ABTA protected most likely so they dont have to reasonably deal with complaints.”

“CONS - The hotel was the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. When you have to go out and buy your own cleaning supplies to clean your room on arrival is saying something. Customer service at the hotel was very poor, food options were limited and the spa/wellness facilities were no longer offered. Staff on the front desk said that they needed to update their website!! I would not expect this level of hotel on your website. PROS - App and website are easy to use and the booking process smooth. Information and updates - good. May use the site again but with extreme caution when choosing a hotel.”

“Loveholidays have failed to make contact with myself or my partner regarding what I would describe as, a holiday from hell. We arrived in Crete Greece for a package holiday booked with Loveholidays (7 day trip) at 01:00am. When checking into the hotel we were taken to an outbuilding where the room provided was not what we had booked. We were met with a mouldy toilet, a bathroom sink that instead of draining into the sewage system, the water rose up from the pipes, 4 single shoddy beds, non locking patio doors, broken room door with no door handles (we were locked inside the room briefly with no way out) and many many other issues. Spoken to a customer service agent at 03:00am, sent evidence photographs and they agreed we had been falsely advertised. They assured us this would be rectified and we were told they would contact the hotel whilst we were on the phone. The hotel did not pick up the phone and we were later told that a case had been opened against the hotel. It has been 3 days since we have received any further contact despite being told this was being escalated. We have been left in the dark with no resolution from Loveholidays or compensation. I have emailed twice now and I have not received a response. Despicable.”
