Booked a package holiday December 2019 to fly to Rhodes October 2020. Due to COVID restrictions in the middle of September we decided we were unable to travel. But please do feel free to copy and paste this chat for your own records. This was on the 26th of September 2020. I made the request to make the changes within loveholidays timescale. I was contacted by them 5 days later and was told it was now too late to make any changes and that I had lost my booking. I contacted the hotel to see if they had been paid by loveholidays and found out they had not paid them! Tried again via their online chat and was again dismissed and was told nothing could be done. Loveholidays recently left the ABTA scheme, probably to avoid paying out any refunds to others in a similar situation to mine. Terrible customer service, avoid at all costs!
