I returned some items to Lowes that my contractor did not use to complete my kitchen remodel. I had the receipts. I handed the receipts to the cashier and told her I wanted cash back or a gift card. I had paid the contractor in full for all the material which is why I had the receipts. The Cashier did a debit return and told me to go back to the contractor to get the money. I was astonished, you have to be kidding me. I asked to speak with a manager. Ben was his name and he repeated what the cashier had said. I spent a 1 1/2 in the store trying to get someone to correct this.
I called the customer service line while I was in the store. I waited 45 minutes before someone answered. Only to have the representative hang up on me. You talk about horrible customer service. I will never do business with Lowes again.
