Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from Lowes. I purchased a dryer from Lowes on 10/11/23. They had comparable prices to Best Buy and Home Depot but they could deliver on 10/12/23. After waiting all day with a delivery window of 1-5pm and after callling 2 times and being told there were no delays, it finally arrived at 5:18pm. The installers removed my dryer and ripped the tubing out of my wall. They brought the new dryer in and proceeded to tell me they couldn't install it since they ripped the tubing out of the wall and they are not allowed to screw anything back in. I asked how I was suppose to get it installed and they did not know and left. I called customer service and a representative would call me on Friday. I received the call and I explained the situation. They agreed to send a service man out on Saturday to fix it. I had him read the issue that the original installers had to make sure the service man could fix it. The repair man shows up at 8:00am and proceeds to tell me he can't do it either. He has know idea who I should call. I paid for installation and delivery but no one can install it? I was so upset. I called the supervisor back but they were not in on the weekend and there was no one available to talk to. I texted my friends and I did get a number of a handy man who agreed to look at it. He bought a $30 kit and had it installed in 10 minutes. I am not sure why Lowes could not have done this. I paid him for the installation and my dryer was finally working. I tried to call Lowes on Monday to have them reimburse me for the installation fee. After getting the run around for hours, I was frustrated. I sent a note to Marvin Ellison the president. His secretary did reach out but took days of follow up from my end and constant asking of where we were. I finally was reimbursed from the installation company but only received a minimal discount for all my issues. I will not even buy a nail from this company. The President of the company should know better. It was a terrible experience.
