It’s Mother’s Day, and it’s get my new refrigerator delivered. Two large men, claim when they go to move my old refrigerator, they can’t touch any copper pipes!! They hand me the wrench to undue the piping from my old refrigerator. I am a senior citizen, woman and in a dress!!! I was furious and crying. Water came out of the pipe, the water line was hooked up. I didn’t know it was. I never had an ice maker attached to my old refrigerator. The two thugs just stood there doing NOTHING! I turned the main water off, not knowing where the shut off valve was. Now what!! Without knowing where the water line was, I had to take the wrench and attach my old refrigerator line back up. I was on my hands and knees again. The younger of the two, finally grabbed the wrench from me and tightened it up.
No one ever mentioned this would be an issue and WTF, there are copper pipes all over the place! How rude and disrespectful not to do this for me. They left the new refrigerator but also the old one. I had to hire someone else to cap off my old refrigerator. Now Lowe’s will not be picking my old refrigerator up until next week!! Lowe’s your level of customer service sucks! You hire these 3rd party delivery companies. I hold you accountable.
