Unfortunately, they cut corners by using a standard metal pipe instead of the required copper, likely due to poor inventory. As a result, we’ve been unknowingly using water with potentially harmful metal particles for our family’s showers, dishes, laundry, and even our pets’ needs. We only discovered this issue when another contractor pointed out the improper installation. He also noted that some connections were left loose, causing leaks that needed tightening. Clearly, the installation was rushed and lacked proper oversight, which leaves us questioning whether they rely on mistakes like these to secure future maintenance work. To make matters worse, neither Lowe’s nor the third-party installer is taking responsibility, leaving us with an unsafe setup and no accountability. This is not the kind of service that prioritizes customers’ health and safety, and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value quality and responsibility in your home installations.
