we bought a $200 kitchen faucet from the lowe’s on I35. when the plumber came to install it a part was missing. He said it looked like the box had been repackaged. my husband goes back to the store to exchange it. he wanted to check to make sure the part was in there. they said he had to pay for it first and then he could open it. that’s what he did. opened it in front of them and the part was missing. he went to get another one from the shelf and again he was told he couldn’t open it unless he paid for it. Stupid rule!! they had to process an exchange of the item so he could open the next box. Same thing!! part was missing. at this point my husband said forget it. he returned it and told them he was going to Home Depot. he even spoke with a manager and she told him there was nothing she could do. he said so you’re just going to sell a defective product? 3 boxes are missing the same part. she said you can always order it from Delta. Again, Stupid!! We will never go to Lowe’s again. By the way, he couldn’t find anyone around to help him with getting the faucet from the top shelves. he finally had to set off the sensor on one of the boxes and that’s how he got someone to help him. bad experience all the way around.
