On January 27, I bought a Maytag washing machine from Lowe's in Hudson, MA. It was delivered with large dents and scratches throughout. It does not operate at all. I called the store where it was purchased and was told that they could not help me because I was required to contact them with my complaint within 48 hours of the purchase. The price was $621.54 of which I paid $400.00 in cash and $221.54 on my debit card. No one discussed with me nor was the issue of a defective product and its return policy raised during the time of the purchase.
This is not the product I purchased and defects are due to the seller. Their return policy is a scam and so is their sale of defective goods.. Looking online regarding complaints against Lowe's, the delivery of faulty, damaged and defective goods is frequent and the response is always the same requiring notice within 48 for the seller's fault.
