Special ordered French patio door with lag time 3 months, it arrives at Rapid City, SD store. We called to confirm door arrived undamaged, was told yes it is and staff do not accept if damaged. Drive time yo pick up merchandise is over an hour, we arrive to pick up item. Staff pull door to prepare to load up door for us, we notice door is damaged and has been jarred over threshold. I ask how is this acceptable for a $1,000 door? Then asked why would accept this from R&L Carrier? We rejected it and had them re-order door again, so we wait another 3 months. Even asked if they could sent message to manufacturer to pack door properly before shipping, was told no. So we will see how many times this will cost manufacturer in loss for damages to door.
